MONTESSORI: CALENDAR OF EVENTS (2008 - 2009):
May - 26th – 29th
Montessori started the academic year 2008-2009 by refreshing and relearning something that is very basic to the Montessori
Method of learning – PHONEMES
A workshop was conducted by Mrs.Shuti Menon who is also a parent of our school. The workshop aimed at giving a preview into the usage of vowels and consonants. The workshop also focused on correct expression, which means, emphasis to be given on the correct word or part of the word for the listener to get the correct message’ or what we want him/her to hear it as.
It was the general opinion that the workshop helped us get an insight into our own expressive talent and also helped to make us independent with self-correction of pronunciation.
