“JAAGARAN” - The Primary Annual Day

The Primary School staged a musical called “Jaagaran”, (Awakening ) on the occasion of their Annual Day held at the school grounds on August 9.

Mrs. Rama Errabelli graced the occasion with her presence.
Our Principal, Mrs. Sujatha Mohandas gave an introductory speech. Mrs. Rama Errabelli delivered a short speech wherein she revealed her fascination for nature through some interesting anecdotes that she shared with the audience as she reminisced about her earlier days in a village.
“Jaagaran” showed how the deep and abiding friendship between the protagonist of the story, Joy, the bird, and a mountain transcends all barriers. The mountain that laments at its solitary existence finds solace in the company of Joy as the bird recounts its experiences of its flight through distant lands.
The programme was remarkable for the costumes that were admired for their beauty, the props that stood out for their originality, the performance of the children and for  the  inherent message in the story that sent a poignant reminder of the urgent need to resuscitate Mother Earth.
