INTER SCHOOL EVENTS
Nishanth. V won ‘Best Speaker’ award, Nishanth . V and Sarayu Krishnan won the ‘Best Team’ award in First Level of All-India Inter School, Frank Anthony Memorial Debate.
The following students bagged the prizes in Horlicks WizKids Competitions:
- Aaditi Pandit won First Prize in Story Writing Competition.
- Sarayu Krishnan won II prize for elocution and was also selected for finals for "Speaker of the Year"
- Abishek Lobo won II prize in "Mime Time".
- Nishanth V & Tanya Thomas were judged as the best "Wizkid" in semi final round.
- Shashank Akella came to the finals in "30 seconds to fame" by playing a piece on his guitar, blind folded.
Sishu Griha was honoured to host the prestigious Frank Anthony Memorial – All India Inter-school Debate Championship instituted by the ICSE Board. 24 students of Class IX and X from 12 schools across Karnataka participated in the debate.
One of the glorious achievements for Sishu Griha was at the “Young Inventors Meet” - An exhibition of creative ideas organized by BASE, Bangalore Association for Science Education and Rotary Club of Bangalore at Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium on 7th February 2010.
Sishu Griha has bagged the Arjun Menda Rolling Trophy for the 3rd year for displaying maximum number of innovative exhibits. Out of the twelve projects which were displayed at the meet, six of them have won special awards and were selected for display in Rotary Club on Lavelle Road at the award function to felicitate the students, teachers and schools.
These are the six exhibits which have won special awards.
