TALK ON PERSEVERANCE

Smart Kids organised a talk by Ms. Priya Ganesh on “Perseverance” for children of Std IV. A visually impaired person, Ms.Priya Ganesh , shared her experiences with the students and emphasized on the importance of perseverance and a positive approach to life.The talk was very motivating, The students interacted with her and were impressed by her achievements in life

 

FIRE DRILL

 

Smart Kids organized a live demonstration of a fire drill at the school grounds on 26, September. Firemen demonstrated the safety measures to be followed in the event of a fire . Children were attentive and put forth many questions.

 

Rotary Youth Leadership Award

 

A workshop was conducted by the Rotary Club, Bangalore East, on leadership skills on 20th of September.
The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) workshop was a leadership course on how to lead in life and express oneself to succeed in life and achieve all the goals that one has dreamed of achieving.

Innovative methods of teaching the values of leadership, hard work and perseverance through friendly interactions, stories, games, activities and slide shows were involved.
