The school prepares its students for the ICSE Board Examinations. The well-designed curriculum, with gradation at every level, aims at augmenting the potential of the students in taking these examinations. At the Primary level, the regular subjects like the languages, math, sciences, social science and computer science prepare the students to transition smoothly into the Middle and High schools. Given the flexibility and the range of subjects that Sishu Griha offers, education becomes all-encompassing, helping students match up to their counterparts across the world.

The Montessori Methodology of education respects each child’s natural desire for knowledge, understanding and ability, and above all instils a love for learning. This has been a guiding philosophy for Sishu Griha because offering a wholesome education for students is all that we aspire for. The skill-based learning at the Primary level allows the students to acquire knowledge, in tandem, with developing thinking skills and becoming active and independent learners. The teachers make sure that there is a streak of creativity in the methods they employ to deliver their lessons. The integrated approach followed here, which involves linking various subjects, is one of the hallmarks of the Primary Section. These methodologies stand our students in good stead even after they graduate to the Middle School and then to the High School. English remains the medium of instruction throughout. Kannada is taught as the second language and Hindi is taught as the third language from Grade V. The students have the option of choosing French or Sanskrit as their second language from Grade VI.
